Back from the dead (for now)

For some reason I just can't seem to get out of the printing industry. So I have a new job and no, I DID NOT stay on unemployment the entire time. I think I might have got three checks and I only filed for it after my severance package ran out. I later found out I could have been collecting during that time but it felt wrong. Here is a funny story for you. I was unemployed for several months, I finally find a job, after meeting with the president of the company, accepting the position and shaking his hand, I go to meet Rhythwyn for lunch and I kid you not, five minutes down the road and my old company calls me and wants me back ASAP. Funny how the universe works. I turned them down. Not out of spite mind you, just my business ethics. Hoping to have fun at AWA this year, I had to bail for the first time last year. Still, I have to take it easy monetarily speaking but other than that I plan to have a jolly good time.

Holiday Shopping

So today, I'm off from work for the 4th and am thinking of doing a project around the house that requires some things I don't have. A trip to Lowes is in order. I hop on over to Lowes' web site to check their holiday hours. I did not see any link for store hours outright so I punched in my zip into the box to check out the closest store's local site and clicked "Shop this Store" button. What I got made me laugh and raise an eyebrow.

What I got was the following warning:

"YOUR HAVE ATTEMPTED TO EXECUTE AN ACTION WHICH OUR SERVER HAS FLAGGED AS MALICIOUS.
YOUR REQUEST WILL NOT BE COMPLETED AT THIS TIME."

So let me get this straight. According to Lowes, shopping at Lowes is a "Malicious Act"? I'm sorry, I'll never do it again. I Promise.

It has been a strange month. I got layed off from my job a month ago due to the industry I was in tanking. So what do I do? I go the Disney Land. No shit, we packed up our bags and flew to California for three weeks to visit some friends. Went to Disney, rode roller coasters, ate yummy food, shopped a lot, and saw something that everyone should see at least once in their lives: "Poo on Acid". I had always suspected that Winny the Poo smoked dope but after riding that ride, I realized that he had graduated to much more hard core drugs.

The odds of actually watching everything I own are getting slimmer and slimmer as the years go by. Oh well, I will not give up the fight. I finally finished cataloging the huge hentai acquisition from the end of last year and added a color coding system.
Blue = subed uncen
Red = subed cen
Purple = subed cen/uncen mixed
Green = untranslated/raw uncen
Orange = untranslated/raw cen
Black = sub or raw soft H

Happy New Year

Kind of late I know but oh well. Added about 200 volumes to the manga library and almost 1,200 episodes to the anime library since the last post. My new years resolution is to watch as much anime as I can.
