Three for One Special

What a start to the new year, all work and not much rest for this weary soul. This is a cumulative blog for the last three weeks. Lots of good stuff to speak of, one of which stands out. This is a new series called Sundome. This is a must read! It is a twisted ride through the life of one kinky little pervert who meets his match in a sadist dressed in cute sheep's clothes. This odd relationship soon degrades into the epitome of S&M. I think this one needs a quote to really get the idea. Hmmmmm.... how about the end of chapter 1. Kurumi finds Aiba's club masturbation manual and starts reading it much to the horror of the other club members there and himself. She then suddenly asks Aiba to show here how he jerks off. He agrees. She picks of course the most improbable entry in the book. One that involves shoving a long spike down his $!(%@ while Jerking off. He is reluctant but attempts it anyway. He misses and accidentally impales himself with said spike. (FYI, Do not try this at home or anywhere for that matter, There are a lot of blood vessels down there and you can easily bleed to death) whoops! As he stands there naked in front of her bleeding profusely she says in a cold tone "I won't have sex with you. Even if I do it with someone else... or as a casual fling... even if we were the last two people on earth... I'd still never have sex with you. No matter how much you cried and begged for me... I'd never let you come. Are you... okay with that?" His response to her. "Yeah." To himself, "As long as you'll stay by my side... it's better than being rejected."

Robot changes hands

I had been wondering why the anthology Robot had been absent for so long. Seems It changed hands which is a good thing because if you were not aware, Dark Horse Sucks! This series is on the 12th or 13th volume in Japan and DH was in no hurry. At the rate they were going, it would be around 2020 by the time they caught up with the original. Hopefully this new publisher is not just another subsidiary of DH and actually has the intention of getting the series released in a timely manner.

I've noticed an explosion of omnibus editions of older series coming out lately from several different publishers. Most of them I already have the individual volumes of or don't have much interest in. One did catch my eye and made it on my list and that was "The Demon Ororon". This three inch thick behemoth omnibus is all four volumes complete. Only 20 bucks too. pretty cheap, 5 dollars a volume if you do the math.

Starting the new year off right

Well, for the most part. We, and by "we" I mean my love, myself, and our friend went up for new years to Pennsylvania. We had fun. Our friend got subjected to Rhythwyn's family, I think he's still in shock. We got stuck in a bad snow storm on the way back. The roads were one long sheet of ice. That part was NOT fun. After slipping and sliding up in the mountains for a couple of miles we decided that getting home that night was not worth our lives so we pulled over at the next exit that had any sign of civilization and promptly got ourselves a room for the night.
